Overnight chia seed bircher with Black Doris Plum yoghurt

  • 400ml  Puhoi Valley Half & Half Organic milk 
  • ½ cup  Desssicated coconut 
  • ½ cup  Rolled oats 
  • ⅓ cup  Chia seeds 
  • 2 Tbsp  Honey or maple 
  • 1 tsp  Pure Vanilla Extract 
  • 1 tub  Puhoi Valley Black Doris Plum yoghurt 450g (to serve) 
  • ¼ cup  Roasted almonds, roughly chopped or ground (to serve) 


  1. Put the milk, dessicated coconut, rolled oats, chia seeds, honey and vanilla extract in a glass bowl or jar.

  2. Mix until well combined, then place in the fridge and leave to soak overnight, or for at least 2 hours.

  3. To serve, layer the chia bircher and black doris plum yoghurt in small sized jars, and then top with a sprinkle of the roasted almonds.
