Medjool dates stuffed with Puhoi Valley Fresh Goats Cheese, Honey & Thyme


  • 10 large Fresh Medjool dates
  • 50g Puhoi Valley Fresh Goats' Cheese at room temperature in a piping bag
  • 1 tsp Fresh thyme leaves, stripped from the stalk
  • 2 tsp Liquid honey, slightly warmed


  1. Slice the dates lengthways down one side and remove the stones. Be careful not the cut all the way through- you still want the dates in one piece.

  2. Pipe a generous amount of goats cheese into each date and refrigerate for ten minutes or until the cheese has firmed up.

  3. Sprinkle the thyme leaves over the cheese, drizzle with honey and a little fresh cracked pepper if you like.

  4. Cut the dates in half taking care not to squish the cheese out of them. Skewer with small wooden picks and serve immediately.
