Creamy Blue Cheese Sauce


  • 25 g butter
  • ½ onion
  • ½ cup cream
  • 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 100g Puhoi Valley Distinction Blue Cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over a medium heat and sauté the onions until golden brown.

  2. Pour in the cream, the Worcestershire sauce and the mustard. Give it a good stir and bring up to a gentle simmer.

  3. Crumble in the Puhoi Valley Distinction Blue Cheese and stir until fully melted.

  4. Serve the sauce with steak, poured over baked potatoes or tossed through fresh pasta.
