Candied Walnuts and Bacon on Double Cream Brie


  • 1 Puhoi Valley Double Cream Brie
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1 cup Bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup Soft Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Preaheat the oven to 180.

  2. In a non-stock saucepan combine the walnuts, butter, brown sugar and salt on medium heat until melted and well combined.

  3. Spread the walnuts out evenly onto a lined baking tray and drizzle with honey.

  4. Bake for 5mins.

  5. Meanwhile, add the bacon to the saucepan and fry in any leftover syrup.

  6. Cover the brie in candied walnuts, bacon and an extra drizzle of honey.

  7. Serve with crackers or fresh bread.
